Siamo finalmente arrivati al completamento del cantiere del nostro progetto per l’Headquarter Eni a San Donato Milanese.
Questo progetto, concepito e sviluppato insieme a Morphosis, non è un edificio per uffici, ma un nuovo pezzo di urbanità per Milano e Metanopoli. La Metanopoli di #EnricoMattei, è nata 80 anni fa con una grande visione che oggi prende forma nel Sesto Palazzo.
Nei 65.000mq di superficie lorda, saranno accolte 4.600 postazioni di lavoro per 45.000mq di spazi uffici con 12.000 mq di spazi comuni.
Il complesso è costituito da circa 40.000mq di rivestimento facciate, ed ospita un grande parco fotovoltaico di 8.000mq per 300.000kWh sulle coperture.
Il progetto configura una nuova modalità di interpretazione dello spazio di lavoro, più democratica, orizzontale ed inclusiva.
Le linee fluide e sinuose del basamento e degli edifici soprastanti esprimono l’identità di eni, dando forma alla trasformazione della materia in energia.
La grande Piazza che si trova al centro del complesso esprime l’idea di comunità, come eredità alla Visione che Metanopoli ha saputo costruire nel tempo.
La sostenibilità dell’edificio è quindi legata in primis alla sua dimensione di architettura-paesaggio capace di creare urbanità, e quindi dall’insieme di strategie energetiche attive e passive che ne hanno consentito la Certificazione Leed Gold.
A livello tecnologico e costruttivo uno degli aspetti più particolari e complessi è caratterizzato dalla struttura del ponte di collegamento tra le Torri, Il collegamento tra Icon e Skygarden avviene infatti attraverso un ponte in carpenteria metallica con trave a cassone, di 68.00 m di lunghezza circa, che si sviluppa in piano in corrispondenza del secondo livello.
Le facciate tecnologiche soni di due tipi, la Orange Skin e la Blue Skin, realizzate con pannelli metallici pressopiegati e forati, e sono modellate per rispondere in maniera sensibile al diverso orientamento ed irraggiamento.

We have finally arrived at the completion of the construction site of our project for the Eni Headquarters in San Donato Milanese.
This project, conceived and developed together with Morphosis, is not an office building, but a new piece of urbanity for Milan and Metanopoli. The Metanopoli of #EnricoMattei was born 80 years ago with a great vision that today takes shape in the Sixth Palace.
In the 65,000m2 of gross surface area, 4,600 workstations will be accommodated for 45,000m2 of office space with 12,000m2 of common areas.
The complex consists of approximately 40,000m2 of facade cladding, and houses a large photovoltaic park of 8,000m2 for 300,000kWh on the roofs.
The project configures a new way of interpreting the workspace, more democratic, horizontal and inclusive.
The fluid and sinuous lines of the base and of the buildings above express eni’s identity, giving shape to the transformation of matter into energy.
The large square located in the center of the complex expresses the idea of community, as a legacy to the Vision that Metanopoli has been able to build over time.
The sustainability of the building is therefore linked first and foremost to its landscape-architecture dimension capable of creating urbanity, and then to the set of active and passive energy strategies that have enabled it to obtain Leed Gold Certification.
At a technological and constructive level, one of the most particular and complex aspects is characterized by the structure of the connection bridge between the Towers. The connection between Icon and Skygarden takes place through a metal carpentry bridge with caisson beam, approximately 68.00 m long, which develops in piano at the second level.
The technological facades are of two types, the Orange Skin and the Blue Skin, made with press-formed and perforated metal panels, and are modeled to respond sensitively to the different orientation and radiation.
